Giving Thanks

I know it is a day early, but this evening, when we sat down for dinner, I asked everyone to talk about what they were thankful for. This was actually prompted by Max's teacher, who mentioned to me at pickup that I would really be happy to see what Max had said he was thankful for when they did that at school today. Unfortunately, I have a very short memory these days and forgot to check his backpack to see what it was, so I just figured I would ask. Max said he was thankful for the baby growing in my belly. I can not begin to tell you how that made me feel. Tears welled up in my eyes. He is one of the sweetest children that I know, and I am very thankful that I am lucky enough to be his mother.
