Digging a Garden for Plants!

Max helped Josh work on our garden today. Josh found a small shovel for him, and he took his job very seriously. Well, until he "planted" the football.

Future New England Patriots?

We have been planning on having Max be a place kicker for the New England Patriots, but maybe that should be Lauren? Max was showing her how to throw a football today. She seemed very interested. Of course, Max's spiral needs some work. :)

On the Move

Well, she isn't crawling yet, but it doesn't slow her down much. Put her down and turn around and the next thing you know, she is across the room, and very pleased with herself at that. Here she is, caught in the act. Posted by Picasa

Our Little Model

I took pictures of Lauren in the dress that I knit her and some of them were just too cute, so I wanted to post them as well as the "look at what I knit" picture. She is our little cutie.
She smiles and laughs all the time and is really a joy to be around. Max loves this dress on her, too. He called it her "Princess Dress" (I really need to let him watch less Disney Channel) and was very upset that I took it off of her. We are happy to see that he likes her as much as he does.

Another Knitting Project & Sitting Girl

I have pretty much finished my first circular needle project, a dress for Lauren, and it actually fits her. :) She is sitting up really well on her own now. I can not believe how fast she is growing. She is 7 months old today. Posted by Picasa

Friends

Here are Max and Diamond playing sticks. A little bit later, Max decided that Diamond had the right idea and went into the water, too. Ack! Posted by Picasa

A Reason to Move

People often ask us why we moved back to New England and are often in shock that we left "beautiful" California, but I have to ask, does it get much more beautiful than this? Posted by Picasa

Trying to Crawl

Lauren is getting very close to crawling. Max did not crawl until 9 months, so this is a bit of a surprise to us. We are both excited for her to reach this milestone and afraid of what it is going to be like to have two kids who are mobile. Posted by Picasa

Enjoying the Spring Weather

It was sunny and in the 50's today so we packed up the family and drove down to the local state park. Lauren spent the entire walk either sleeping or eating in the wrap, but Max and Diamond enjoyed it. We saw dogs, kids, horses, and geese, and even some turtles. Max got to pet one of the horses, and Diamond played in the water. We love being so close to such a lovely place. Posted by Picasa

Solids!

Family DinnerWe have started feeding Lauren solids. She is enjoying them, and Max likes to help. Lauren likes to help, too, by holding the spoon and putting it in to her mouth and then not letting go of the spoon. All in all, it is messy, but fun.

Paint and Stickers

Two of Max's favorite things are paint and stickers. Here, you see some of his finer work. Luckily, the paint is washable. Washing Max's face is always a battle, but it all came off fairly easily. Posted by Picasa
